Non Stop Creativity

Well my fellow readers. I know I have not posted in a while and that's because college was kicking my butt this semester, but it comes with the territory. While I was away I have been very artsy and creating alot of genius stuff. Since I am a seamstress and artist, I managed to combine these parts of me and I screen printed my own fabric. It came out amazing as you can see from the image. I have reupholstered a chair and made some other items out of this fabric. This will hopefully become my signature fabric for a new line of bags I am putting out. You can check those bags out on my Etsy acct soon. It is a map design of the places I want to visit. Give me your thoughts on it.

New Etching Print

When creating this print, i was really unsure of what would become of it. There was alot of trial and error with this print. During my process of printing this plate, I managed to spray to much spray paint to aquatint my plate, thus the work that i had managed to create on the plate before was ruined. So I had to redue the process over, and surprisingly it came out well. I am glad because I have never experienced such trama and aggravation.

Well i created this etching print on a zinc plate. There were three plates all together, one key plate and the other plates were color plates. There were three colors used, processed blue, yellow, and red. Each plate was created by hand with the help of nitric acid.

Art Walk Tomorrow!

Hello my millions of readers! Tomorrow is the monthly First Wednesday of the Month Art Walk here in Jacksonville, Florida. I am excited because I have some new paintings that I want everyone to see and hope they will enjoy them as much as I did painting them. I will also be bringing a few of my handmade wallets to show off my excellent sewing skills. Being apart of the Art Walk gives me the opportunity to spread my wings and learn what is constructive criticism. I am excited for the feedback and appreciation of my work. I will be showing off my new prints as well. I want to be thought about when everyone leaves. Well I hope my millions of fans have an excellent day tomorrow. Oh yeah, check out all my paintings at, Imagekind and tell me what you think of them.  I will be uploading new pictures very soon.

Now i am going to be blogging by mobile my fellow readers.

Work in Progress

Hello my fellow readers; the millions that are reading my blog. Well being creative, I think, has its faults.  I have yet to run out of ideas- which is the best part, but I always have something new going on and it makes it terribly difficult to finish some pieces that I begin. I have a compassion for fashion, a love for sewing, and a graceful, swift hand for painting that widens eyes and puts the word delightful in their mind. I am overwhelmed with appreciation for the critics who find amazement in what I produce.
When I sew, I know what will become of this piece of fabric, but when I paint, there are many brushstrokes running through my hand and I am lost within the painting. I just can't predict the finished piece. As of right now, I am sitting and staring at this half-painted, primed canvas and wondering what will become of the rest. I have not one crystal clear idea of what it's going to be. Well here is the piece in progress. This painting is just like life, you never know what will become of it. I will be adding the finished piece soon. Thanks for reading this week.

This is stage 1. Looks like a hand doesn't it.

This is stage 2. Looks like a skull doesn't it.
